Garth Brooks

Back in December we got to see Garth Brooks in concert and it was AWESOME. We had lots of friends in town for it since he was playing 9 shows over 7 days to benefit Nashville flood relief. Hotel Gray was in full force and I loved it! Papers say the concerts brought in more than $4 million -- how awesome is that!

We had an absolute blast all weekend...

Melinda came in town!

Our Thursday night Garth group - whoop whoop

So nice of Rishi to give Erin his other glove/koozie

Of course I wanted to play with the band... little did they know my lack of musical talent

Oh Dear

10 minutes ago I get two emails from my sweet husband. No subject line, no text, just a picture in each.

Exhibit A:
Part of our kitchen cabinets in our living room

Exhibit B:
Part of our kitchen where he tore them out

What do I even say???

Geez, now where are we going to put the microwave until we finish the rest?

Well if it's not obvious, our kitchen remodel Phase 2 is officially on its way!! Maybe hubs will include me on the next series of decisions!!

I Said It's Great to be an Auburn Tiger!

Ok, this is backtracking even further, but I wanted to share our trip to the plains for the second time in the season (November). But first, we took a detour to Lagrange, GA where my bestie currently resides! So of course I had to come down and check out her and Patrick's beautiful new house...

and celebrate their ENGAGEMENT!!!
(ps stay tuned for another exciting engagement - post coming soon)

That's right, my best friend is getting married! And I could not be more excited!!! This wedding season is going to be so fun!! August 2011 here come the Spinks!

Continuing my tour of Lagrange...

It was such a cute town

We had lunch at this little pub downtown

Then is was off to Auburn to watch our tigers play

But we made time for a quick photo op, of course!

Hubs and I met on campus waaay back in 2003

Happy birthday to you!

And the cutest Tiger cupcake for the birthday girl!

And here we are on campus for our very first (will be annual) Peanut Gallery tailgate!
Thanks Kristin for making this happen! It was the perfect set up!

This called for a toast!

All the peanuts!! Love love every one of these girls and it was such a blast to be back on campus all together again! I have the best group of friends :).
