Beach Bachelorette

My dear friend Lindsay, better known as Twin, is getting married in 1.5 months!

Background: I met Twin my freshman year at Auburn when we both pledged Alpha Chi. We had a very close knit circle of friends in college and I'm so glad we have all been able to keep up as much as we have -- thanks to the Peanut Gallery (gmail group)! But back to Twin... let me just say she is awesome -- smart, fun, gorgeous, and always knows how to have a good time. I couldn't be happier for her and Chase and I know they have a great future ahead of them! Remember the Nashville plan ;).

I have been looking forward to her bachelorette party for months and it was finally here! Last weekend a bunch of us girls headed down to Sand Destin for a long weekend. The weather was absolutely PERFECT (75 and sunny) and I had an absolute BLAST! After a long travel day Thursday we pretty much tuckered out as soon as we got to the beach house. That is after we found all the bedrooms :)... this place was crazy! So the next morning we were well rested and ready for a full day in the sand. Ahhh, just thinking about it makes me want to go back! That Friday night we got dressed up and enjoyed wine and a fabulous dinner on the patio at Louie Louie. I had the blackened grouper - you can pretty much assume that if grouper is on the menu I will be ordering it! It was amazing!! Here are some photos from Friday...

Saturday 'the burnt girls'- I'm always in this club - headed to the outlets to avoid the morning sun and do some shopping! We met the rest of the girls on the beach around 12:30. There was lots beer and beach dancing! Then we hit the showers and got ready for dinner and the lingerie shower. Fun fun! Then it was out for a night on the town -- we headed straight to Rum Runners in Bay Towne Wharf and danced the night away with the bachelorette! Makes me miss all you girls more than I already do! Saturday...
