Family Filled Weekend

Ryan and I spent the past weekend in Huntsville and it was jam packed, like usual...

Friday night we had a relaxing dinner with Mrs. Debbie and Joe, saw a late movie with Blake, Jake, and Shelia – Hangover, which is hilarious by the way. Saturday morning we got a very early start to say hi to my parents before Ryan’s tee time. My half sister, Lisa, and my nephew, Jesse, were in town visiting too! It was so good to see them since I haven’t seen them since our wedding! Once Ryan left to play golf we started off our full day of activities. We took a look around the Hampton House since my parents are pondering joining, went to eat at Little Rosie’s (my favorite lunch spot), went to the Huntsville Visitor’s Center, drove around some beautiful, historic areas of Huntsville, went up on the mountain to see the views, and stopped in a couple shops along the way.

Afterwards, Ryan, Dennis, Susan, and Blake picked me up and we were off to Lake Guntersville to check out the new lake house! More details to come in a separate post!!

After the lake we went to Ryan’s Aunt Debbie’s retirement party! It was a perfect night for an outdoor cookout which was preceded by a beer pong party by the pool at Blake and Mandy’s! What a night!

Sunday we had breakfast at my parents house. I just love sitting outside on my parents back porch with a cup of coffee. It is so relaxing and I love the mountain views. Then, we ate lunch at Mrs. Debbie’s to celebrate Blakey’s 29th birthday! Ryan missed out on the best Baskin Robins mint chocolate chip ice cream cake because he was sulking on the couch! We were t-i-r-e-d! We even have to split up the two hour drive home – pathetic! But it was well worth a weekend with our families!
