More Summer Recap - The Massa's Wedding and A Lake Trip

As I recap more of our social summer events I want to share the few pics I do have from Megan and Joe's beautiful Nashville wedding. I met Megan during our provisional year in Junior League. We ended up being in the same small group and have been friends even since. Too bad I didn't get a pic of the four of us :) - that' you Meg, Megan, and Sarah Ann! Anyway, neither Megan and Joe are from Nashville, but that is where they met and currently live so that's where they wanted their wedding to be held. Because of that, they played up the Nashville theme (in a classy way) which I was really digging. Their reception was even at the Country Music Hall of Fame - so cool! one of my favorite things was the photo booth -- it was soo fun and I still have our photo strips hanging on the fridge! Here are a few pics of the evening...

Gorgeous set up

Being introduced!

So pretty!!

Me and the hubs

Ryan and I were also able to get away to the lake a few times this summer. The theme of this lake weekend was clearly being 'ICED'. If you don't know what being iced means, you definitely need to google it -- in short, it involves hiding Smirnoff Ice and the unfortunate finder must take a knee to chug it! It is a very fun and addicting game that creates a lot of paranoia but all in good fun of course! A great time was had by all and we're glad that our friends Ryan and Leighton could join in the lake fun! It was good to see you guys! The icing pics are the only ones I have from the weekend. I now realize I need to get out the camera a lot more while at the lake. I guess we're just relaxing too much!

Ryan was the first one iced and was hilariously caught off guard -- Leighton and I (and Sadie) got him good!

Next on the hit list was Blake

We even got his Dad!

Then it was Paul's turn for some Smirnoff -- even kids can be used against you!

And the final icing of the night -- got you Harbuck! Leighton is giving him some love while he chugs since she was totally in on it :)

Leighton and I turned in early and left the boys to hold down the fort.
This is what I walked out to...

We had one left so Sunday morning we planted it in the grill. To-be-found...

That sounds like an awesome game! I may have to steal that idea!
