4th of July Fun

Now back to the summer recap...

Us Nashville girls spent our long 4th of July weekend celebrating Meg's bachelorette party!! Thursday after work we traveled to Knoxville to stay the night with Bev and Christian and break up the drive a bit. Then Friday morning bright and early we were off to Charlotte, NC! We stayed at the Omni downtown and it was perfect. We could walk to everything and the hotel had an amazing rooftop pool that we were loving come Saturday. They even had a DJ to keep the pool party alive. It was so fun! This was my first time visiting Charlotte and I really loved the city. I cannot wait to come back and visit my sissy! But back to the bachelorette...

Shortly after arriving to the city we grabbed lunch outside and this is our bachelorette sipping her first drink of the weekend

Now on to the next bar and riding in the karaoke cab! This was SO fun! Everyone in Charlotte needs this guy on speed dial.

It even had a disco ball... what's not to love

And finally back at the hotel at Meg's favorite photo shoot spot :)

This is where we spent all day Saturday rejuvenating ourselves for the main night!

Ryan is 26!

My sweet husband turned 26 last week!!

We celebrated with friends on his actual birthday at Las Maracas - our favorite Mexican restaurant. It was very laid back and just great to be with everyone. Then some of us headed back to the house for some red velvet cake and ice cream.

Unfortunately the camera was nonexistent that night but I did snap a quick shot of his cupcakes!
Made them all by myself ;)

Then Friday night we got dressed up and had our own birthday date night at Watermark. It was A-mazing!! We had a fabulous meal, sat on outside on the rooftop, and enjoyed the city views and perfect weather all evening.

I love him so so much

His sweet mama and Joe are even coming up tomorrow to continue the celebration!

Happy Birthday baby!

More June recap

Fathers Day...

Ryan and I had a wonderful weekend in June not only celebrating Father's Day with both of our Dads, but also Blake's birthday!

We started the weekend off by heading straight to Lake Guntersville Friday after work and enjoying the evening and all day Saturday with the Grays. It's always a super fun and relaxing time at the lake house!

Happy Fathers Day, Dennis!

Then Sunday morning we had breakfast at my parents house to kick off my Dad's celebration. We soon headed out to Wheeler Marina to spend the day out on the boat.

All packed up, even Sadie!

Stef and Michael came too!

I think we have a new tradition!

Then it was back to Huntsville for Blake's birthday!!

Happy Birthday Blakey!
We continued his celebration with family the very next weekend at Double Head Resort in Alabama. We had a fun time and I don't have any pictures to show. Boo :(.

What a great weekend celebrating with family!

Flowers

This post is random, but when our landscaping was overgrown in the front we had these vines with flowers that opened in the mornings and were closed by the time I got home for lunch and all evening. I guess they're nocturnal? Who knows, but they were pretty in the mornings and I liked them.
